Warwick & Rugby Markets Cancelled on Saturday 15th July

Warwick & Rugby Markets that are due to take place tomorrow, Saturday 15th July, have been cancelled due to a Yellow Weather Warning.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast over the past 48 hours. Unfortunately, the weather conditions have worsened, leading to the cancellation of several markets and events by other operators and councils in our region.

Considering the heightened wind gust speed of up to 42mph throughout tomorrow, it is only fair to prioritise the safety of everyone involved and cancel our markets as well. The forecast also indicates thunder and lightning throughout the day. The safety of our team, traders and visitors is of utmost importance, and we appreciate everyones understanding. Both councils are aware of this decision.

Sunday's Barton Marina Artisan Market & Nuneaton Food Festival will be going ahead as planned, as the weather looks better. However we will still monitor this over the coming hours.
